Back to School Teacher Outfits

I’ve lived in my athletic shorts and tanks for almost three months. In just eight days not only do I have to get up way earlier than I have been, but I also have to put on real clothes. I really do love getting dressed up (most days), but having to actually leave time to get ready in the mornings sounds exhausting. Anyone else?

I started going through my closet, looking at pieces that I didn’t wear any more and taking inventory on what items I need (more like want) for the upcoming school year. I did a little “back-to-school” shopping, if you will, and found some great pieces at great prices. I wanted to put together a post for you that has all the links in one handy place to access and purchases if you need them, too!

To start, I am almost 5′ 11”, so I always order the tall if it is an option. I am between sizes, as my postpartum body is still hanging on with a death grip, and fluctuate between a size 6-8 (28/29 waist) in pants. I normally wear a size medium in tops.

Okay, first outfit is a new color combo favorite. I am normally a black and olive green girlie, but the navy blue and olive is just feeling like the new pairing this year!

I couldn’t leave the black and olive combo out totally, so I simply changed the shirt and left the pants. We love a good, versatile pair of pants, ya?

One last olive pant outfit before moving on- I love a good teacher tee and pant combo and this shirt from Teacherts is the best. The code “MeganH” will save you when you check out PLUS they’re having a back to school sale with the code “BTS30”.

Okay, I normally don’t add a ton of color into my wardrobe. I am working on adding more of it, starting with this top. I saw it and just could NOT stop thinking about it. These pants are older, but a closet staple for classroom teachers.

Who is scared of white jeans? I know I used to be. That was until I found THESE. The first fit and literally not see through at all. More off white than true, but still a great option! Again, I love how versatile these pants are and how many outfits can be made by simply switching the top.

THESE PANTS. Literally if I could only pick one pair to wear every day for the rest of my life, it would be these.

These pants were a new style for me, and I absolutely LOVE them. The only problem is that the waist is really tight. I ordered a medium, and then bought another pair in navy but in a large. I will compare when I get them. The waist on the medium is fine when I finally get them on, but I have to do a lot of dancing to get there.

Last top/pants combo for today- this shirt is awesome. I love that it can be dressed up or down depending on how it is styled. Also, a moment for the blue and rust color. These Pixie Pants are also a teacher closet staple.

Okay, now onto some dresses and jumpsuits- both things I wanted more of in my closet. I typically shy away from these because of my height, and TBH I should have. Most of these dresses are not tall girl friendly, but wanted to share in case that isn’t you!

First up is this awesome jumpsuit. I saw it and fell in LOVE. One of my new school colors is red, so I thought this was perfect.

I saw a similar one on amazon, so I’m linking that here- https://amzn.to/4fnPbm8 *affiliate

Next up is this cutie flower dress. I will probably still wear it, but I will have pants on underneath.

The other pink dress I was going to share is not available anymore, but it is also from MOD boutique and they have so many other options! Ill link their dresses page here: https://www.modboutiquevw.com/collections/end-of-year-sale-dresses?sca_ref=5359618.ErRiGulMsH

The last piece I have to share is this green linen dress! It is so cute, but a little shorter than I feel it should be on me.

Let’s talk shoes- I love a good mule. I wear the two pictured all the time and just find that they match with so much! They’re older, so I can’t link but I’ll share a different pair by the same brand!

And that is a wrap on the back to school teacher outfit inspo! I hope this was helpful and I wish you the BEST back to school season.
